CIAM is currently requiring that students and staff provide Evidence of Health before entering the campus. Evidence of Health means presenting either a record of Vaccination or a COVID-19 Test with a negative result at the time of Screening. Learn more about CIAM's vaccine requirement.
At this time, California residents ages 12 and up are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. We encourage you to pursue local vaccination options in Los Angeles County, or wherever you live.
In the U.S., each state and county has established its own system for availability and distribution. If you live in California, consult the California Department of Public Health’s My Turn site, or one of the many tools recently developed that helps find appointments across the country, such as https://www.vaccinespotter.org/.
Alternatively, as vaccine availability, locations and processes change frequently, we strongly encourage you to review your county’s vaccination plans and seek vaccination in your local area. CIAM encourages all members of the CIAM community to register to receive the vaccine. This effort will support recovery from the pandemic, help slow the spread of the virus and help support our return to campus and in-person operations, teaching and learning. We urge all community members, regardless of where you are and vaccination status, to follow the CiAM Return to Campus Safety Guidelines concerning the wearing of masks, frequent hand washing and other precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
If you have any hesitation or concerns about taking the vaccine, please consult your physician.
