Dear Friends and Visitors:
The California Institute of Advanced Management (CIAM) is a nonprofit graduate university with a social mission, offering high-quality education based on the principles developed by Peter F. Drucker, known as “The Father of Modern Management.”
Drucker emphasized application and action rather than theory alone. Moreover, he emphasized a leadership practice that concerns the larger community of stakeholders and how the workplace improves the world in which each individual will help to form as a member of a global and functioning society.
We teach our students to lead not just for the bottom line, but with integrity, accountability, and to promote individual dignity. We do this by teaching responsible management – Management as a Liberal Art – through a very practical curriculum.
We strive to:
Responsible management requires awareness in a wide range of disciplines, balancing the interests of all stakeholders so that each individual can prosper. Our students and graduates play a vital role as part of the larger social fabric as responsible leaders who are resilient, empowered and innovative.
We would love for you to be a leader of future business. We can’t wait to meet you.
Cordially,
Geofrey Mills, PH.D
President
