Latest Updates
As always, the health, safety, and wellbeing of our community is our top priority. Our Emergency Response Management Team and CIAM Safety Task Force (CSTF) continue to meet and monitor updates to public health guidance. We will make any additional changes to our campus policy as needed in response to these health directives.
Effective July 20, 2022 COVID-19 all Protocols and Procedures are rescinded per the AMENDMENT TO COVID PREVENTION POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS.
Effective September 1, 2022, CIAM will strongly encourage but will no longer require employees to be vaccinated for COVID-19. All other mandates remain the same.
Effective February 23, 2023, in consideration of the wellbeing and safety of the campus community, and in accordance with public health guidelines, CIAM has evaluated the existing COVID-19 Safety Protocols in place and makes the following updates:
- Masks are no longer mandatory but are encouraged.
- Sanitation stations will remain in place.
- Masks are available to staff, students, and visitors upon request.

IMPORTANT:
Beginning September 11th, 2021, CIAM will require COVID-19 vaccinations for all CIAM students, faculty, and staff. Individuals who are unable to show proof of vaccination or COVID-19 negative test results taken within the last 72 hours will not be allowed on campus. Please read the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement announcement for full details.

REPORTING
Any member of the University community who tests positive for COVID-19 or becomes aware that they may have been in close contact with someone who either has tested positive for or is suspected to have COVID-19 is strongly encouraged to report the positive result or exposure immediately upon knowledge of the case. SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19
Common symptoms include:
- fever, cough, and shortness of breath
- chills,
- muscle pain,
- headache,
- sore throat,
- fatigue,
- congestion,
- runny nose,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea or new loss of taste or smell.
