Michael Gittelman

Michael Gittelman earned his MLS degree (Master of Library Science) at the University of Oregon. He has 15 years of experience as a librarian at career colleges including 6 years as online librarian. This experience included reference service, cataloging of a classroom sized library, procurement and instruction in the use of online library databases, facilitation of an online forum on library issues in Moodle, and development of an online library web site. Prior, Mr. Gittelman conducted general education classes at a career college.

Michael Gittelman provides reference service, research assistance, and help with library use, searching, and information literacy, in addition to his administrative duties.
