All international students must have a visa to study in the United States. Without this, you will not be able to attend CIAM because you cannot enter the country. International students at CIAM typically have an non-immigrant Student Visa (F-1). In order to apply for an F-1 Visa from your local embassy you must have an I-20 issued by the school you will be attending. CIAM only issues I-20's to international students who have completed the entire application process and have been accepted into the MBA program. For questions about the I-20 or Visa Application Process, contact your DSO or CIAM's Admissions Department at [email protected] or 1 (626) 350-1500.
There are a number of sources on the Internet which provide many valuable tips on how to approach the embassy visit. Some of these sites provide information on what you should do or should not do. It is best to act natural, be prepared with all appropriate documents, and ask for a written reason for rejection if the student is rejected.
